Sponsorship of Gordie Mutch
Updated: Apr 15, 2019
We are delighted to sponsor Gordie in the Ginetta GT5 racing calender.
Gordie is looking for wins in the 2019 season and we are looking forward to a fun and fast racing year.
Gordon Mutch first had a trial of a bambino kart at the age of six and after one lap at Boyndie came in complaining that it was slower than it should be. His father, Neil, had restricted the engine to be safe. Gordie, as everyone calls him, refused to go back out unless the kart was fixed. On the very first trial Gordon showed a remarkable aptitude for consistent speed and kart control.
At seven years old he competed in the Boyndie Drome Open challenge and in the four-round championship came second against drivers up to six years older.
Since then Gordie has won many club, national and British Karting championships.
In 2017 Gordie had seven poles, three race wins and two second places taking the lead of the championship.
One To Watch
Gordie then progressed to the Ginetta GT5 Challenge series in 2018 which is known as one of the most competitive, one make, championships in the world. He was the youngest competitor in the championship competing against much older drivers in the massive 37 car grid and finished 13th in the end of year standings
Gordie will undoubtably be quick, gain respect and make many more friends during 2019.
Winning ways to continue in 2019.
